hello sunshine

Two posts in one week!?  What!?  That's what happens when I have a couple days off from work!!  This card is made for the Create a Background Lawnscaping Challenge.  It's been cold and dreary around these parts with some snow thrown in for good measure.  I'm ready for some spring!

To make this background, I stamped the sun image with Versamark ink, then embossed with clear embossing powder.  It makes the images shiny and they stand out a bit more than if I would have stopped with the Versamark.

hello friend

Good morning friends!  Today I have a card that I made for the new issue at Paper Issues - Say It Ain't Snow Cold Outside.  Sometimes it's a nice change to put together a card made of mostly elements and not too much stamping.  The only thing stamped on this card is the "hello friend" sentiment. 

Speaking of cold ... we're to have some snow tomorrow.  Only 1-3 inches, but still snow.  I'm ready for spring - we're half way there!
